In this expansive digital illustration, Carla Daly reimagines the world as a vibrant habitat shared by a diverse cast of cartoon creatures. From the icy reaches of the poles to the dense greenery of the tropics, each region is defined by the unique animals that call it home, rendered with soft lines and approachable personalities. The composition uses a clear landscape orientation to provide a wide-angle view of the earth, making the vast scale of nature feel intimate and accessible.

The artwork functions as both a decorative map and a visual narrative of biodiversity. By stripping away complex topographical data in favor of clean shapes and cheerful figures, Daly emphasizes a sense of wonder and interconnectedness. The palette and style remain light and unburdened, focusing on the joy of recognition as viewers spot familiar species tucked into their respective corners of the globe.
