In this portrait-oriented composition, the artist explores the organic architecture of plants through a vintage lens. The work utilizes a layered approach where the density of acrylic painting meets the soft washes of watercolor, allowing the botanical forms to breathe across the frame. Instead of strict realism, the focus shifts to the harmony of line and the emotional resonance of the palette, echoing the late-career cut-outs and sketches of the masters who inspired it.

There is a deliberate sense of movement within the abstraction, as if the foliage is caught in a slow, silent migration across the paper. By stripping away unnecessary detail, the piece highlights the raw beauty of silhouette and the interplay between positive and negative space. It serves as a quiet meditation on growth, rendered with a hand that values the expressive power of a single, confident stroke.
