Menina Lisboa demonstrates how a few intentional marks can define a personality. This bright yellow sun is defined by its approachable simplicity, featuring short, uniform rays that frame a face composed of a tiny nose and eyes looking off to the side. The choice of a portrait orientation focuses the viewer’s attention entirely on this central figure, making the sun feel less like a distant star and more like a gentle character residing within the room.

Designed specifically for nurseries and playrooms, the artwork relies on a cheerful, unpretentious aesthetic to create a sense of comfort. The sideways gaze of the sun adds a touch of whimsy and movement to the static form, inviting children to engage with the illustration. By stripping away complex textures and shadows, Lisboa ensures the focus remains on the friendly, charming essence of the 'Hello Sunshine' character.
