In this striking wildlife illustration, Branka Kodžoman utilizes a bold, graphic approach to depict a hare mid-leap. The animal is rendered as a strong silhouette, detailed with precise linework that suggests texture and speed without cluttering the frame. Set against a massive, saturated red sun, the hare becomes a focal point that feels both ancient and modern, bridging the gap between traditional nature studies and high-contrast abstraction.

The piece relies on a portrait orientation to emphasize the height of the leap and the scale of the celestial backdrop. By stripping away environmental clutter, the artist focuses entirely on the relationship between form and color. The inclusion of a classic frame provides a structured counterpoint to the fluid, organic motion of the animal, resulting in a balanced work that feels deliberate and powerful.
