Art Analysis
A geometric pulse beneath the urban haze
Sausa utilizes a fusion of pop art sensibilities and modern minimalism to reinterpret the urban landscape. By layering vibrant geometric patterns, the artist suggests the hidden complexity of a city street veiled in haze, where light breaks through in structured, rhythmic bursts. The composition relies on a deliberate color exploration, using sharp contrast to create a sense of depth and movement within a flat, digital plane.
This work moves beyond simple representation, leaning into abstract theories to find an elemental wholeness in the perceived chaos of downtown life. The interaction between sharp lines and bold blocks of color reflects a digital evolution in art, where traditional layering techniques meet a fresh, graphic energy. It is a study of how atmosphere can be built from the ground up through precise, dynamic arrangements.
Sausa blends bold, graphic shapes with a high-energy palette reminiscent of mid-century pop movements.
The artist uses digital tools to merge clean portraiture with complex, non-representational shapes.
The artwork strips the city down to its essential geometry, focusing on the balance between negative space and structural form.
The use of coral and turquoise creates a balanced palette that feels both vibrant and soothing against the visible paper grain.
