In this work, Ristova explores the minimalist power of the line, using a portrait format to emphasize a vertical, cascading movement. The composition relies on the tension between the mark and the void, creating a visual path that draws the eye downward in a steady, melodic flow. By stripping away extraneous detail, the artist focuses on the raw elegance of form and the subtle shifts in pressure that give the line its character.

The verticality of the piece suggests a growth or a falling, grounding the abstract shapes in a physical sense of direction. There is a quiet confidence in the way the curves intersect and pull apart, inviting a meditative gaze into the simplicity of the gesture. The resulting image feels both deliberate and organic, a singular expression of balance captured within the frame.
