In Evening Swim, Reynolds employs a rich palette of acrylics to translate the sensory experience of water and light into a rhythmic, abstract composition. The work moves away from literal representation, instead using bold blocks of color and fluid shapes to suggest the cooling atmosphere of a late-day immersion. The vertical orientation emphasizes a sense of depth, drawing the eye through layers of pigment that feel both structured and spontaneous.

Housed in a classic frame, the artwork bridges the gap between high-impact pop art and a grounded, boho sensibility. The interplay of bright tones creates a visual vibration that mimics the shimmering surface of a pool or lake. By focusing on the emotional weight of color rather than fine detail, Reynolds invites a visceral response to the warmth and quietude of an evening ritual.
