In this portrait, Tunaboylu utilizes digital techniques to evoke a sense of mid-century nostalgia. The artwork centers on the shared silhouette of a woman and her canine companion, where the flowing coat of the Afghan Hound mirrors the sophisticated drapery of the woman’s attire. Set against a simplified cityscape, the piece relies on a muted, retro palette to establish a mood of quiet confidence and high-fashion heritage.

By flattening the perspective and emphasizing clean outlines, the artist leans into a graphic style that feels both archival and fresh. The vertical orientation heightens the stature of the subjects, making the architectural elements of the background feel like a stage for their synchronized stroll. It is a study in coordination and the rhythmic patterns found in both living forms and the built environment.
