Escape pain through self-acceptance. Dolores is one of my "Gordas", a series of women showing themselves to the world as they are. They are fat and claim their space. They appear vulnerable but alive and kind, they exude a certain eroticism, but above all their rotundity prevails. Gordas is the result of an ongoing reflection. In the face of a society that makes large bodies invisible, which It denies them their space, there is no choice but to occupy it, but self-acceptance hinders everything.
