From the artist, Branka Kodžoman
A Bold Fusion of High Fashion and Surreal Blooms
In this striking illustration, Kodžoman balances sharp graphic design with loose, energetic brushwork. A stylish woman stands at the center of the composition, her posture echoing the confidence of high-fashion photography while being enveloped by oversized, surreal botanical elements. The palette is defined by saturated fields of green, blue, and pink that break the space into distinct, vibrant zones, grounding the ethereal subject matter in a firm visual structure.
The interplay between the flowing lines of the figure and the heavy, abstract shapes of the crowning flower creates a sense of rhythmic movement. By blending traditional portraiture with playful surrealist touches, the artist captures a moment that feels both grounded in modern style and untethered from reality. Every stroke contributes to a lively atmosphere where color and form dance together in a bold, graphic harmony.
The artist uses bold shapes and clear outlines to define the subject’s features and natural hair.
The artwork replaces a standard telephone receiver with a string of sausages, subverting expectations through a humorous, dreamlike lens.
Flowing lines and visible brushwork give the subject a sense of movement and raw, artistic energy.
