In this landscape-oriented digital work, Carla Daly reimagines the world map as a vibrant habitat for a wide variety of cartoon creatures. Each continent serves as a stage for localized fauna, rendered with soft lines and approachable expressions that remove the clinical distance often found in cartography. The use of digital illustration allows for a clean, cohesive palette that ties the vast oceans and diverse landmasses into a singular, inviting narrative about our planet.

By focusing on the intersection of travel and nature, the piece encourages a sense of curiosity about the global environment. The arrangement of animals across the map provides a visual rhythm that guides the eye from the icy poles to the lush equator, making the vastness of the world feel intimate and interconnected. It is a functional piece of art that prioritizes a sense of wonder and discovery for viewers of all ages.
