In this portrait-oriented illustration, Uta Krogmann explores the intersection of indoor comfort and the wilder edges of a botanical collection. The composition uses a dense arrangement of leaves and vines to create a natural frame around the central subjects, grounding the digital medium in a tactile, hand-drawn sensibility. The interplay of the steaming tea and the curled form of the cat suggests a moment of stillness, where the outside world is held at bay by the lush growth of a personal garden.

The artist utilizes a warm, saturated palette that emphasizes the vitality of the plant life against the soft geometry of the home setting. By focusing on the small details—the curve of a leaf, the steam rising from a mug—Krogmann captures a specific atmosphere of contentment. The work functions as a visual meditation on the restorative power of nature and the simple, grounding presence of a companion animal.
