In this digital composition, Hearn reimagines the traditional landscape through a lens of surrealism. The sharp, angular peaks of the mountains suggest a crystalline structure, rising abruptly against a backdrop of deep space. By blending the organic textures of nature with the cold, precise clarity of digital art, the work creates a sense of a world governed by different physical laws, where light and mineral merge into something otherworldly.

The horizontal orientation emphasizes the expansive scale of this cosmic environment, inviting the eye to travel across the jagged ridges and into the celestial void. There is a deliberate tension between the familiar silhouette of a mountain range and the impossible atmosphere it inhabits. The result is a quiet, meditative exploration of space and form that strips away the terrestrial to reveal a more abstract, elemental reality.
