This work focuses on the rhythmic arrangement of evergreen boughs and seasonal accents, presented in a portrait orientation that emphasizes the height and presence of the greenery. By isolating the wreath against a simple backdrop, the artist highlights the textures of the needles and the deliberate placement of each decorative element, inviting a close study of its construction.

The composition relies on the inherent symmetry of the holiday form, using the vertical frame to create a sense of dignified stillness. Rather than leaning on fleeting trends, the piece leans into the sturdy, tactile qualities of the foliage, capturing a quiet moment of seasonal preparation and the steady warmth of a domestic ritual.
