In this acrylic work, Rahner strips away the traditional subtlety of botanical illustration in favor of a vivid, high-contrast palette. The composition utilizes the vertical orientation to stack floral and leafy motifs, creating a sense of upward growth that feels both architectural and alive. Each brushstroke contributes to a flattened, graphic aesthetic that honors the bold outlines and flat color planes characteristic of the Pop Art movement.

The interplay of hues creates a visual friction that keeps the eye moving across the canvas. Rather than aiming for realism, the artist focuses on the emotional weight of color and the decorative potential of plant life. The result is a spirited interpretation of the natural world that feels intentional and grounded, celebrating the inherent geometry found within blooming silhouettes.
