In this depiction of the Sagrada Familia, Carla Daly focuses on the soaring verticality of Gaudí’s masterpiece. The portrait orientation emphasizes the reach of the iconic spires, translating the intricate, organic stonework into clean lines and a cheerful palette. By simplifying the cathedral's dense details, the artist invites a sense of wonder and accessibility, making the monumental structure feel intimate and full of life.

The composition balances the grandeur of the architecture with a lighthearted aesthetic. The towers rise against the frame, grounded by the bustling energy of the city below. This work avoids the heavy solemnity often associated with historic cathedrals, opting instead for a bright, graphic interpretation that celebrates the unique silhouette and imaginative spirit of Barcelona.
