I've been always curious about seeing what's it's like to see anime and manga in Japanese Ukiyo-e form. This is why I made this artwork because I can see the beauty and the tragedy of what's happening in The Attack on Titan story and seeing it in Ukiyo-e style gives it an impression of an apocalyptic event that might've probably happened in the past of our real world. The main goal was to focus on nature first, but in a bleak way that's rare seen in Ukiyo-e art. The idea of tsunamis also inspired me and an artwork like this gives the impression of impending death.
