Art Analysis
From the artist, Linda Carruth
At First Blush is a colorful summer fantasy, framed in gold and twinkling with glitter. A colorful butterfly gingerly approaches a flower while a lizard awaits his next tasty fly. Bright colors of morning dew and the fading night burst upon the misty dawn in textures and colors through which many of us quietly slumber, never casting a single gaze. This piece is a fun capture of an expressively colorful natural world that can only exist with such intensity in one's own imagination.
