Overlapping circles and vertical streaks
This graphic composition relies on a few large shapes set against a white background. A heavy black crescent occupies the middle of the frame, partially covered by a large gold circle in the upper left. Below these, a smaller gold circle sits on the right side, while a thin gold strip angles toward the bottom left corner. The arrangement uses a limited color scheme of metallic gold and solid black to create its elegant look.
The top and bottom edges of the image are marked by thin textured lines and many black vertical splatters. These streaks contrast with the smooth, thick curves of the central shapes. While the circles and crescent are solid and bold, the surrounding splatters are fine and scattered, filling the white space around the main gold and black elements.
This piece is part of a numbered series where the artist uses different shapes and colors, such as yellow and grey, to build various abstract scenes.
