In this composition, Ristova strips away the traditional details of a landscape to focus on the essential silhouettes of a mountain horizon. The portrait orientation emphasizes the height and grandeur of the peaks, stacking layers of color to create a sense of atmospheric depth. By simplifying the natural world into clean lines and distinct planes, the work invites a quiet contemplation of the horizon line as both a physical boundary and a space of infinite reach.

The interplay of light and shadow is suggested through a deliberate palette, grounding the abstract forms in a recognizable natural logic. Rather than a literal depiction, the artist offers a structural interpretation of the outdoors, where the weight of the mountains is balanced by the openness of the sky. The result is a grounded yet airy visual experience that captures the stillness of high altitudes.
