Layered circles and gold rectangles
This graphic work builds depth through a stack of shapes and marks. A large white circle sits in the middle of the frame, acting as a base for black concentric rings. Behind this central shape, two gold rectangles stand vertically, while the very back layer consists of black splatters and textured marks that reach toward the edges. The arrangement moves from these messy background marks to the clean, solid shapes in the foreground.
The use of color is limited to black, white, and metallic gold, which contributes to the elegant look the artist describes. A small gold circle sits in the lower left area, appearing as the topmost layer and pulling the eye toward that corner. The contrast between the thin, circular brushstrokes and the solid, straight edges of the rectangles creates a structured but active composition.
