Anna Alekseeva, known online as kostolom3000, is a self-taught illustrator and pattern designer who merges digital vector precision with the soft textures of hand-drawn watercolors. Her practice is deeply rooted in the landscapes of her childhood spent along the rivers of Eastern Europe, a background that informs her intricate approach to nature and form. Her body of work has gained recognition within the independent design community, particularly for its application in textiles and wallpaper. By blending historical design sensibilities with playful subjects, she creates a distinct visual language that features recurring motifs such as her signature "Coffee Cats," botanical florals, and whimsical animal figures.

Visual voice

Her aesthetic is defined by a balance of structured Art Deco geometry and the organic, flowing lines of Art Nouveau. She utilizes a hybrid technique of watercolor and digital vectors to depict a world of playful felines and lush, river-inspired greenery.
