About JpArt

Every sale pays JpArt directly.A meaningful share of each purchase goes to the artist.

JpArt represents a dual legacy in American visual arts, spanning from the grit of New York City’s street art scene to the quiet shores of New England. One facet of this name is rooted in urban collaboration, most notably seen in large-scale murals created alongside stencil artist BD White. These public installations, featured in the Bushwick Collective and the inaugural LoManArt Festival, capture a raw, communal energy within the city's architectural fabric. Alternatively, the name encompasses the work of Jim Reidy, a painter who began his career as a newspaper illustrator at age fifteen. His practice focuses on sentimental landscapes and maritime scenes, using acrylics and watercolors to evoke a sense of nostalgia. Whether through a public mural in Manhattan or a regional gallery piece, the work under this banner emphasizes the unique perspective of the individual creator.
