Based in Singapore and born in Taiwan, Christina Chen received her formal training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). Her practice is defined by a technical fusion of traditional Chinese calligraphy, oil painting, and modern color ink techniques. She is a prominent figure in the regional art community, serving as the President of the HK-Macau-TW Art Union in Singapore. Her work, which often features floral motifs and landscapes, has been showcased in a 2019 European tour and a 2022 exhibition in Kaohsiung. In 2016, she set a national record in Singapore for the longest hand-painted New Year couplet.
