Joost Gerritsen, the artist behind Studio Gerritsen, earned his degree cum laude from the A.K.I. Academy of Fine Arts in Enschede in 1993. After establishing his practice in the Netherlands, he moved his studio to the Valencia countryside in 2006, where he remains active today. A recipient of the Art in the Volkspark Award, Gerritsen has built a significant presence in both the Dutch and Spanish art scenes. His work is represented in the collections of RABO Bank Enschede and SBK Amsterdam, reflecting a career defined by academic rigor and an international perspective.
