Squeaky Pictures began in the North of England before the pull of London’s design scene led to a career in the capital. After earning a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kingston Polytechnic, the artist entered the high-energy world of music videos and commercials as a designer and animator, eventually moving into feature film work at the prestigious Richard Williams Studios. Now operating as a freelance animation director and illustrator, the artist balances their creative practice with a role as a co-director of Mo Choy Design. Based in London with two talkative Siamese cats, they bring a playful, charming sensibility to their work, informed by years of experience in moving image and a former tenure as a university lecturer.
