NGHBRS is the art and design studio of Aaron Cahill, a San Antonio-born artist who earned his BFA in Advertising and Design from Oklahoma Christian University. Since the early 2000s, his work has been featured in numerous Oklahoma City exhibitions, including Tonic, Momentum, and Summer Thieves, as well as a 2014 showcase at Project 4 Gallery in Washington, D.C. that highlighted art created on mobile devices. Cahill’s current practice investigates the concept of isolation. He utilizes the high-altitude flight suit as a primary metaphor, representing the ways individuals distance themselves from external influences to better examine the nature of their own reality.

Visual voice

The work centers on the imagery of high-altitude flight suits to explore human isolation. This aesthetic serves as a symbolic barrier, questioning how we perceive our surroundings when separated from the outside world.
