Layered organic forms on rectangles
Five rounded, irregular shapes with protruding lobes float across a white background. A large, dark reddish-brown form sits on the left, acting as a heavy anchor for the lighter peach and tan shapes scattered around it. These organic figures overlap two light beige rectangles that meet at an angle in the middle of the frame. The arrangement creates a sense of movement, as if the figures are drifting over the geometric base.
The tan shape on the right features two distinct circular cutouts, revealing the beige and white layers beneath it. While the rectangles provide straight edges and flat surfaces, the lobed shapes have soft, curving outlines. This combination of pop art character and experimental design relies on the contrast between the dark brown, the warm peach tones, and the neutral beige blocks.
This piece is the fourth entry in the series, following the initial stages of the collection and appearing alongside other works like Corals and Funky Seventies that share this rhythmic, floating style.
