Pea Crabtree is a Hastings-based designer, printmaker, and frustrated wrestler who operates under the name Lucky Budgie. In 2016, she served as the lead artist for Ditchling Museum’s Big Steam Print project, where she utilized a 12.5-tonne vintage steam roller to produce large-scale linocuts across the South East. Her practice extends into extensive community outreach, leading workshops for both youth and adults at the De La Warr Pavilion, Towner gallery, and Hastings Museum. When not in her studio or working at a local furniture recycling charity, she shares her home with her dog, Ernie, finding creative spark in the humor of daily life.
