Luca Massone is a Genoese architect and visual artist whose work is deeply rooted in the structural heritage of his native Italy. After earning his art diploma from the "N. Barabino" School of Art and graduating from Genoa University, he spent several years at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. During this tenure, he contributed to significant architectural projects, including Rome’s Parco della Musica, an experience that informs the technical precision found in his later artistic practice. Shifting his focus toward watercolor and architectural illustration, Massone explores the intersection of reality and imagination. His portfolio spans detailed urban landscapes of Genoa to surreal "fantasy cities" populated by recurring motifs. His work has gained international visibility through exhibitions at the Luxembourg Art Fair and features on the RAI 3 program Quante storie, as well as a cover commission for the illustration project The Genoeser.

Visual voice

Massone’s aesthetic merges rigorous architectural drafting with the fluid transparency of watercolor. His work is defined by a fascination with urban geometry, often punctuated by surreal elements like floating islands and hot-air balloons that drift through meticulously rendered cityscapes.
