Julia Weston is a Melbourne-based illustrator and textile designer with a career beginning in 1991 after graduating from Bristol University. She spent a decade in Tokyo represented by the Grade One and Asterisk agencies, where she served as the cover artist for NOVA CITY magazine and created the "ABC Bridge" cartoon for the Nagasaki newspaper. Her work has been featured by various publishers across the UK, Japan, and Australia. Currently operating Fish Face Studio in Melbourne, Julia focuses on diverse illustration projects and textile design. A member of Illustrators Australia, her professional practice is grounded in her extensive background in editorial media. She lives in Melbourne with her husband Andrew, their three children, and their family pets.
