Jillian Zepeda is a figurative painter who works in acrylics, encaustic, and oils. Raised in the creative community of Sisters, Oregon, she learned to integrate art into her daily life from a young age. After studying Film and Media at the University of California Irvine, she moved her practice to Dallas, Texas, where she continues to create work for the home. Her practice centers on the study of women in their everyday lives, offering a look into private, secret moments. She explores the power of the female body through both literal representation and abstract forms. When not in her studio, she enjoys the outdoors, playing golf, and watching Formula 1.
