Haunted Chloe

Chloe Coblentz, working under the moniker Haunted Chloe, creates illustrations that dwell in the shadows of horror literature and dark romanticism. Based in the United States, she began her formal training at the Watts Atelier of the Arts at eighteen, later refining her specific vision through a deep study of the gothic aesthetics that define her portfolio. Her practice relies on traditional mediums, specifically the delicate layering of watercolors, gouache, and colored pencils. This tactile approach brings a soft, melancholic depth to her subjects, a quality that led to her work being featured in the inaugural issue of bloodbathhate magazine.
