"Spanish figurative painter. Born in Alicante, living and working in Madrid since 2007. He has studied with Luisa Pallarés, Nathaniel Evans and Eloy Morales and Alejandro Carpintero. Since 2012 his work has been exhibited in Madrid, Alicante, Barcelona and London. Alexander Grahovsky’s paintings are portraits of people who look without looking. As if time has stopped, the suspension that can be felt in the interior scenes of Hopper’s paintings … as a slight threat in the environment. But in Grahovsky’s portraits the threat is diluted by the humor of the gesture of fashion and children’s play"
