Georgia Koumoushi

Based in Nicosia, Cyprus, Georgia Koumoushi brings a structured sensibility to her creative practice, shaped by a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Italy. Her professional path has moved through various spatial disciplines, including interior design, landscaping, and furniture design, all of which inform the balance and form found in her visual work. For Koumoushi, the act of drawing and writing is a vital daily meditation and a source of joy. This personal practice recently expanded into the literary world with the publication of a children’s book she both wrote and illustrated. Her work reached a wider audience in September 2020 when she participated in a group exhibition in Athens with the London-based organization Art Number 23.
