Gareth Courage is a Birmingham-based artist and educator whose practice is rooted in a deep academic foundation, holding an MA in Visual Communication and a BA in Fine Art Sculpture. Currently a Senior Lecturer in Illustration at Birmingham City University, Courage balances his teaching with a rigorous studio practice that has garnered support from Arts Council England for projects like his expanded film work, 469 DOF – Europe Through The Windscreen.
