Dylan Silva is a Swiss-born visual artist and illustrator currently based in Porto, Portugal. After completing his formal training at the Faculdade de Belas Artes, Silva became a fixture in the local creative scene, co-founding the hybrid production and exhibition space Senhora Presidenta. His work gained significant recognition when he was selected for the 2023 National Young Creators Showcase in Portugal. Silva’s practice centers on the materialization of memory through watercolor and oil paint. He focuses on the morphology of the human body to construct what he describes as "hybrid figures." These works serve as tangible vessels for fragments of thought, navigating the thin line where fiction and reality intersect through simple, evocative narratives.
