DBM2 operates as a visual nexus between intricate illustration and the energy of global street culture. The name is most prominently linked to the album Downtown Battle Mountain II, which features the chaotic and highly detailed work of Swedish illustrator Mattias Adolfsson. This association establishes a foundation of dense, observational art that defines the collection's aesthetic. The moniker also identifies an international graffiti crew known by various titles such as 'Doing Better Music' or 'Death By Markal.' This collective background introduces a raw, urban perspective, drawing from the technical skills of various members to create a visual language rooted in the movement and rhythm of the streets.
