Claudio Parentela is a self-taught multimedia artist and freelance journalist based in Catanzaro, Italy. Since 1995, he has been a prolific figure in the international underground scene, building a practice that spans illustration, photography, and collage. His work is deeply rooted in the raw energy of industrial and noise music subcultures, often emerging from collaborations with experimental musicians and poets. Parentela’s process balances a long-term technical dedication to black Indian ink with the chaotic layering of mixed media.
