About Castion

Every sale pays Castion directly.A meaningful share of each purchase goes to the artist.

Castion operates at the intersection of editorial discipline and the untamed energy of the Pacific Northwest. An East Coast transplant now settled within a West Coast rainforest, the artist brings a perspective shaped by the transition from urban structures to the dense, damp greenery of the coast. The work is built on a foundation of personal narrative, often described as being based on a true story. There is a sharp, prehistoric subtext to the practice, with the artist identifying as a secret velociraptor. This blend of predatory instinct and professional craftsmanship creates a body of work that feels grounded in reality yet infused with an ancient, wild spirit. Every piece reflects the quiet focus of an editor paired with the raw vitality of the natural world.
