Bjørn Karmann

Bjørn Karmann is a Danish interaction designer and visual artist who explores the intersection of human experience and artificial intelligence. A graduate of the Kolding School of Design and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, his practice centers on speculative objects that challenge our relationship with data and privacy. By grounding complex algorithmic processes in physical forms, he invites a deeper understanding of the invisible technologies that shape daily life. His recognized works, including the lensless camera Paragraphica and the privacy-focused Project Alias, have earned him prestigious accolades such as the Ars Electronica S+T+ARTS Prize and the Google AI Challenge award.
