About Annie

Every sale pays Annie directly.A meaningful share of each purchase goes to the artist.

Annie Randall is a self-taught artist based in Bristol whose work examines the delicate relationship between humanity and the natural world. Her practice is rooted in the idea that while humans are inherently part of nature, there is often a felt sense of detachment that her compositions seek to bridge. Working primarily through cyanotype prints and pencil sketches, Randall also integrates watercolor and oil into her portfolio. Her process involves creating cyanotype templates from a unique combination of her own drawings and photography, focusing on the immersion of the human figure within various types of flora and fauna.

Visual voice

Randall’s aesthetic is defined by the deep indigo of cyanotype layered with the fine precision of pencil draftsmanship. Her work frequently features botanical elements and wildlife intertwined with human forms, illustrating a physical merging with the environment.
