Adelle Rae Taylor is a Canadian visual artist and OCAD University graduate who works across gouache, acrylic, illustration, and photography. After spending seventeen years immersed in the Toronto art scene, she returned to her hometown of Bright’s Grove, Ontario, to continue her creative practice. Her professional reach includes being selected as a "Series 1" artist for Collective Arts Brewing and participating in the 2025 dual exhibition, The Art of Seeing, at Gallery in the Grove. Taylor’s work focuses on the emotional resonance of color and the deep-seated links between the natural world and the human experience. By balancing technical skill with an exploration of the human condition, she creates compositions that reflect her surroundings in Bright's Grove. Her practice remains rooted in the belief that color serves as a powerful medium for expressing internal states and external observations.

Visual voice

Taylor’s aesthetic centers on the interplay between vibrant pigments and organic forms, utilizing gouache and acrylic to map the human condition. Her compositions bridge the gap between representational nature and the internal emotional landscapes of the viewer.
